The most commonly used sealing element in seals is rubber sealing rings, which are usually classified according to their main materials, characteristics and motion forms. The sealing rings produced in our factory are mainly used for crane tube sealing. Now let’s popularize the knowledge of rubber seals.

1) Rubber seals in different materials

Different seals are divided by different materials, usually with nitrile seals. Other common materials such as silicone rubber sealing rings, fluoroelastomer sealing rings, etc.

2) Classification according to the characteristics of Rubber seals

This classification is mainly divided by combining the working conditions and materials of the sealing ring. It can be divided into high temperature resistant sealing ring, low temperature resistant sealing ring, high pressure resistant sealing ring, wear-resistant sealing ring, corrosion-resistant sealing ring, etc.

3) Rubber seals with different movements

Usually there are two main types of motion forms, namely dynamic sealing and static sealing. Static sealing refers to sealing on two stationary surfaces. O-rings, which are widely used in sealing rings, are mainly used in static sealing, followed by gasket sealing. In the dynamic seal, according to whether the sealing ring is in contact with the parts moving relative to it, it can be divided into contact seal and non-contact seal. Among them, the rubber sealing ring is a contact sealing method. Usually in dynamic seals, common forms of rubber sealing rings include rotating shaft lip sealing rings and reciprocating motion sealing rings.

4)Rubber seals for different application industries

In our time, there are actually many industries that use seals. Examples include Automotive, Robotics, Energy, Space Exploration, Marine & Offshore, Medical, Machine, Foodstuff, Bathroom, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Oil & Gas, Filtration, Semiconductor, etc.
