Flange Gaskets

Flange rubber gasket is a special type of rubber gasket used for sealing flange connections. They are usually made of rubber material, which has good elasticity and corrosion resistance.

The main function of the flange rubber gasket is to provide sealing at the flange connection to ensure the tightness of the connection and prevent the leakage of liquid, gas or other media. They are widely used in the joints of various piping systems, valves, vessels and other equipment.

Flange rubber gaskets are usually placed between flange connecting surfaces and achieve sealing by deforming under pressure. When the flange bolts are tightened, the rubber gasket will form a sealing ring on the flange surface to fill the gap between the flange connection surfaces, thereby ensuring sealing performance.

Petroleum Flange Gaskets

Due to the need to withstand special working conditions such as high temperature and high pressure in petroleum engineering, the corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, strength and sealing performance of the material need to be considered in the material selection and manufacturing process of Petroleum Flange Gaskets. Flange gaskets are widely used, mainly used in pipelines, valves, pumps, manholes, pressure vessels, etc.

EPDM rubber gaskets elastomer

EPDM rubber gaskets are widely used due to their excellent weather resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance. They are resistant to various conditions such as UV rays, oxygen and atmospheric conditions. EPDM rubber also exhibits good corrosion resistance, allowing it to withstand high temperatures. Its elasticity and resilience make it suitable for use in a variety of industries, including food processing, water systems and HVAC. These gaskets meet food grade certification requirements and are suitable for a variety of applications.

Pipe Flange Gaskets

EPDM Pipe Flange Rubber Gaskets

EPDM pipe flange rubber gaskets are used for improved joint performance. They are considered much more superior to conventional ring or full-face gaskets. Although pipe flange gaskets are usually used for all normal water and sewer services, they are especially useful in demanding services like very large-diameter flanged piping. For specially designed long-span installations, involving 2 or 3 or more lengths of pipe or with any underground flanges, flange gaskets are of great help because they could be subjected to undesirable beam loading.

High-temperature silicone rubber seals play a sealing role at the joints of automobile exhaust pipes to prevent exhaust gas leakage.

Magneto Flange Gasket

Aircraft Magneto Flange Gaskets

Aircraft magneto flange gaskets are sealing gaskets used for aircraft engine magnet flange connections. Magnet flanges are a critical component that connects the engine’s magnets to the ignition system. They are responsible for directing high voltage to the engine’s spark plugs to produce ignition. In order to ensure the reliability of the ignition system and prevent the leakage of ignition energy, gaskets need to be installed at the magnet flange connection for sealing.

PTFE Filled Glass Gasket

PTFE Filled Glass Flange Gaskets

PTFE Filled Glass Flange Gaskets are a special type of gasket consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and fiberglass-filled materials. It is mainly used to seal pipes, containers and flange connections to prevent media leakage. They are commonly used in chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and food industries, especially where corrosive media and high temperature environments are involved.

Flange gasket

Flange gasket is a sealing element used to connect flanges. It is usually located between flanges and is used to fill and seal the gap at the flange connection to prevent the leakage of liquid, gas or dust. Flange gaskets are widely used in industrial fields, especially in piping systems and vessel connections.

Flanges are a common connection method used to connect pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment. The connection between flanges is usually tightened by bolts, but the tightening of bolts cannot completely eliminate the gap between the flanges. This requires the use of flange gaskets to fill and seal these gaps to ensure the sealing performance of the connection.

Flange gaskets are generally made of rubber, metal, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and other materials. Flange gaskets of different materials have different properties and application ranges. For example, rubber gaskets have good elasticity and corrosion resistance and are suitable for general sealing applications; metal gaskets have high pressure resistance and temperature resistance and are suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature environments; PTFE gaskets have excellent resistance to Chemically corrosive and low friction coefficient, suitable for sealing corrosive media.

Several factors need to be considered when selecting a suitable flange gasket, including working conditions (pressure, temperature, medium), flange material and connection type, etc.

Rubber flange gasket is a flange gasket made of rubber material. It is usually used between connecting flanges to fill and seal the gap at the flange connection to prevent the leakage of liquid, gas or dust.

1.Rubber flange gasket

Rubber flange gaskets are made of rubber materials. Common rubber materials include styrene-butadiene rubber (NBR), nitrile rubber (Nitrile), ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM), etc. These rubber materials offer good elasticity, abrasion resistance, and chemical resistance, making them a common flange gasket material choice.

2.Advantage
