Introduce

The rubber oil separator diaphragm is an add-on for car exhaust systems. In order to keep oil out of the environment and the intake system, it is used to separate the exhaust gas from the oil vapor in engine exhaust. When the piston in an automobile engine works, a significant amount of compressed gas and combustion byproducts are created, some of which comprise oil vapor. These oil vapors may seriously impair the engine’s longevity and performance if they get into the air intake system and produce carbon deposits, sludge blockage, and other problems. As a result, an oil separator diaphragm is frequently used in automobile engines in order to separate oil vapor and direct it back into the engine oil circuit.

Certification standard

  • The ISO 9001 standard is a global framework for quality management systems that may be used in a range of industrial and service sectors. Having an efficient quality management system to guarantee that goods fulfill client needs and quality standards is a sign that a product manufacturer has earned ISO 9001 certification.
  • A set of stringent quality criteria must be adhered to by suppliers throughout the design, development, manufacturing, and servicing phases of the automobile industry supply chain, as stipulated by ISO/TS 16949, a quality management system standard. A manufacturer’s compliance with the quality management requirements of the automobile sector is attested to by the ISO/TS 16949 certification.
  • Established by the American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM D2000 is the standard for rubber material specification. It details the necessary usage environments for rubber materials as well as their chemical and physical characteristics. These standards can be used by suppliers to assess how well their products work.
  • In order to control rubber parts in vehicle cooling systems, the Society of Automotive Engineers created SAE J20. Suppliers can use these standards to guarantee product quality and performance even if they are not specifically linked to oil separator membranes. These standards are relevant in automobile engineering.

Advantage

  1. Oil and gas separation: An oil separator diaphragm can efficiently separate the engine exhaust’s oil vapor from the exhaust gas, keeping the oil from getting into the atmosphere and the intake system. It prolongs engine life and dependability by significantly lowering the production of carbon deposits and sludge, maintaining the air intake system clean.
  2. Protect the air intake system: The oil separator diaphragm works to separate oil vapor from the air, preventing oil from building up and depositing in the system and causing clogging of the air filter, throttle, and air intake duct. This keeps the air intake system operating normally.
  3. Minimize pollutant emissions: By using diaphragms wisely, you may cut down on toxic substance concentrations entering the atmosphere, oil vapor emissions from engine exhaust, and contamination of the environment.
  4. Enhance fuel economy: The oil separator diaphragm’s function is to keep the engine’s oil lubrication and cooling system operating normally, which enhances fuel economy and engine performance.

Function

  1. Oil and gas separation: By successfully separating the oil vapor from the exhaust gas in engine exhaust, the diaphragm keeps oil out of the atmosphere and the intake system.
  2. Oil Return: To maintain the engine’s oil lubrication and cooling systems operating correctly, separated oil vapor is routed back to the oil pan or oil return system.
  3. Protection for the intake system: The oil separator diaphragm may stop oil from building up and depositing in the system, preventing clogging of the throttle, air intake duct, and air filter, and preserving the intake system’s regular functioning.
  4. Emission control: The oil separator diaphragm helps cut down on hazardous compounds released by cars and lessens pollution in the environment by lowering oil vapor emissions.
