About Waterproof Sleeve Wire Cable Seal

The main function of waterproof sleeve wire cable seal is to waterproof, dustproof and protect wires so that they can operate normally in humid and harsh environments. These seals can effectively prevent water penetration and protect wires and cables from water erosion, thus ensuring the normal operation of the entire electrical system.

Features

1. High-quality materials: The waterproof sleeve wire cable seal is made of high-quality rubber or polyurethane material, which has excellent elasticity and wear resistance and can adapt to the complex movements of the waterproof sleeve.

2. Strong waterproof performance: sleep wire cable seal can effectively prevent water penetration, ensure that wires and cables are not eroded by water, and ensure the safety of the power system.

3. Good high temperature resistance: wire cable seal can work at higher temperatures without deformation or damage.

4. Easy installation: wire cable seal adopts standard interface and size, making it easy to install and use.

Classification

Waterproof sleeve wire cable seals can be divided into two categories: one is ordinary seals, and the other is special seals. Ordinary seals are mainly used in situations with general waterproof requirements, while special seals are used in situations with higher waterproof requirements, such as subways, tunnels and other underground projects.

Applicable scope

The application fields of waterproof casing wire and cable seals are very wide, including the following fields:

1. Construction field: Waterproof casing can be used to protect wires and cables inside and outside buildings, such as indoor wires, outdoor cables, underground cables, etc.

2. Electric power field: Waterproof casing can be used to protect power equipment, substations, transmission lines and other power facilities, such as cable terminals, cable branch boxes, cable tunnels, etc.

3. Communication field: Waterproof casing can be used to protect communication equipment, optical cables, cables, etc., such as communication base stations, optical cable connector boxes, optical cable branch boxes, etc.

4. Transportation field: Waterproof casing can be used to protect transportation facilities, such as street lights, signal lights, tunnel lighting, etc.

5. Petrochemical field: Waterproof casing can be used to protect petrochemical equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, etc., such as petrochemical plants, oil fields, natural gas pipelines, etc.

In addition, waterproof sleeve wire cable seal can also be used in other scenarios that need to prevent water or other liquids from penetrating, such as waterproofing projects in tunnels, basements and other underground buildings, as well as facilities that need to protect wires and cables.

Installation

1. Select the appropriate waterproof sleeve wire cable seal model and specification, and pay attention to the matching of the interface size and cable diameter.

2. Clean the inside of the waterproof casing and the surface of the seal to ensure there are no impurities and moisture.

3. Insert the seal into the waterproof casing to ensure that the seal and the casing fit tightly to avoid the penetration of air and water.

4. For cables that need to pass through walls or floors, special waterproof casings and seals should be used to ensure the safety and waterproof effect of the cables.

5. During installation, care should be taken to protect wires and cables from damage and avoid excessive bending or twisting.

6. After installation, a water filling test or rain test should be conducted on the waterproof casing to ensure that the seal can effectively prevent water penetration.

In short, waterproof sleeve wire cable seal is an indispensable waterproof material in engineering applications. It can effectively prevent water penetration and cable damage, and ensure the normal operation of the power system. During use, you need to pay attention to correct selection and use to ensure its normal operation and optimal performance. At the same time, during installation, care should be taken to protect wires and cables from damage and avoid excessive bending or twisting.

Apply material

1. NBR: Suitable for petroleum hydraulic oil, glycol hydraulic oil, diester lubricating oil, gasoline, water, silicone grease, silicone oil and other media. It is a versatile, low-cost rubber seal, but is not suitable for polar solvents such as ketones, ozone, nitrohydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform.

2. EPDM: It has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, water resistance and chemical resistance. It is suitable for alcohols and ketones, and can also be used for sealing in high-temperature steam environments. Not recommended for use with food or in contact with mineral oils.

3. CR: It has excellent sun protection and weather resistance, is not afraid of refrigerants such as dichlorodifluoromethane and ammonia, and is resistant to dilute acids and silicone grease lubricants, but has greater expansion in mineral oils with lower aniline points. It is easy to crystallize and harden at low temperatures, and is suitable for various environments in contact with the atmosphere, sunlight, and ozone, as well as various fire-resistant and chemical-resistant seals. Not recommended for use with strong acids, nitrohydrocarbons, esters, chloroform and ketone chemicals.

4. NR: It has good wear resistance, elasticity, tensile strength and elongation. It is easy to age in the air, becomes sticky when heated, easily expands and dissolves in mineral oil or gasoline, and is resistant to alkali but not strong acid. It is suitable for liquids containing hydroxyl ions, such as automotive brake oil and ethanol.

In addition, there are seals made of PU, PTFE and other materials. When selecting materials, you need to choose based on the actual application scenario.
